Yeah that would be no good, I wish we built it a little bit smaller but we'll see how it goes, we did our research to some extent. wish us the best of luck when we get out there i'm hoping all goes well so i can step my game up on the lake, know what i mean. _________________ Darryl's the name, Wakeboardings my game!

I'm a bit worried it might not be strong enough sideways. I have read a post of someone who built a similar tower, who had that problem
Here's the link: http://forums.wakeboarder.com/viewtopic.php?t=30248.
Maybe try it out before you paint it, then it don't matter much when you have to weld some extra diagonals. _________________ Opportunity is a bald man with a beard:

| what are you using to mount it to the boat? Heard lots of people with direct mounts end up cracking the get coat/ fiberglass. You may want to look into some heim joints if you haven't already mounted it. |
