I just bought a pair of Rockford Fosgate 6 1/2 inch speakers, what size PVC would i want, and when you put the speaker in it, how the hell do you get it to stay in the PVC, you cant screw it, so how do you do it?

One thing I have been thinking about is that will the PVC hold up and not crack with some speakers in it and hitting double-ups. I'm putting some speakers in mine that will have heavy magnants and thing the aluminum piping would hold up better.

Funny you should ask........I posted back in April the materials I used to build PVC speakers...and they are using 6.5" RF speakers. Plus, the diameter of the grill is exactly the same as the O.D. of the coupling/cap.
