I was just wondering how much a Pylon will help. It is too cold to ride now, but I was thinking about getting a pole for next season. Here is a pick of me with 500lbs in the boat and just the normal stock pylon. The boat is a moomba outback LS. Let me know how much it will help and if you think it is worth it.... thanks!

you look like your getting pretty nice air without one...nothin huge but enough for some spins and maybe an invert if your lucky, but a tower/pylon wouldnt be a bad idea

moomba010, It will definately help worth every penny. I would also suggest dropping $100ish bucks on a non-stretch rope and handle. Easily the best $100 spent in wakeboarding. (you can also find them much cheaper if you hunt around)

you need a pylon are a tower because when you jump without one the rope is pulling you back down in the water. With a tower or pylon it will pull you up out the water so you get more air.

a tower doesnt help you get much more air then you would with a normal stock pylon, all a tower does is give you more hangtime to pull of a trick.so if you cant get air without one theres no use in spending $1500 on one. i think this has been discussed many times.moomba010, your getting some real nice air without a tower, but i would still get one

if you get a tower, you will see a 110% improvment. when you hit the wake you are getting pulled up not down so you will get more air and more hang time to try more tricks..

yea, when I first rode behind a tower I learned 15 new inverts because of the extra 1/4 a second of hang time Rolling Eyes

Tower manufacturers love people that believe that crap
