Me and my ridin crew built this slider out of an old john boat this winter and put it in early this year before lots of boat traffic and sheriffs got on the lake, and surprisingly it worked really good! Minus the fact that it is pretty short, but its not bad at all for an afternoon's work! Tell me what you think....And if you think you have an even more ghetto slider than this one...prove it and post it!

Tex

My buddy who helped me build it is works for a construction company so we just stole all the lumber from his work...lol...and the PVC cost us like $30, and the boat w/ trailer i got for $50 bucks!!! so a grand total of $80, not too shabby at all...
Very Happy

That would have been a nice little jib if you just flipped the boat over before.

Man I have one almost identical to that. The only problem is that big boat wakes will wash into the aluminum boat and it is a pain to tip it over and get it out. If it gets too full it sinks, and that really sucks to pull it off the bottom.
