sketchy at best.. if its solid should be fun though. gotta start somewhere... Id say maybe put some some downsloping piece of wood on each site of the bar to cover the boat so you dont get pulled off and go face planting between your 2x4s and the bottom of the boat. |

wouldn't be as hood fab it you moved those three supports under the slider base, sticking out the side like that is asking for trouble.
What do your parents think of having that thing in the back yard? _________________ Neuston Boards

| well the parents dont really care, as long as i dont get hurt.. we just bought this new house on the water, and we are remodleing everything. so everything, expecially the yard is shitty. everything will be done this summer hopefully. |

What the hell is that thing right in front of it w/ 2 bike wheels?
listen to markymark, put some ply wood onn so you donm't fall into the boat.

that looks like an accident waiting to happen if that is going to be the first slider you hit. Deffinitly add the plywood over the boat. Might want to take a shop class before you make your next one too. |

I would for sure put some plywood shielding from those braces on the boat. So if you slide off the side you don't catch your board on the boat or braces. You will just slide off into the water.
It will also probably help if you fill the boat partly with water to add more stability. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

| yeah, that does sound like a good idea outting water in the boat.. Beaver, the way the canal is eroded, i will be landing in about 6 ft of water, not 2inches..the boat will be sitting in that, so it wont rock. im putting plywood on the sides as soon as i can geta hold of sum. |

Danger Danger! Austrailian outback.
Way to use your resources though!
Hopefully you're a good rider and this isn't your first time on a slider!
Just don't show your parents a normal slider, then they won't let you ride that one anymore.

dial 911 15 minutes before you hit that thing; so when you face plant the braces the ambulance will be on its way _________________ Fat kid dancing to "Numa Numa"

if you are anchoring it in 2" of water, why do you need to have it supported by a boat, the only purpose it will serve is trouble when you fall. then again, falling in 2" of water is probably going to give you enough problems as it is, so why not add another. (it might break your fall!!! )

ye^^^^if your in shallow water, even up to 6 ft. deep, dont make it like this. just slam supports into the ground and build and "in ground" slider.
also, you will die if you dont put skirting on that badass mutha....its LITERALLY DEATH!!!!! angle them out and down into the water so WHEN you fall (not IF) you wil go into the water. im not trying to discourage you, but stuff happens and we dont wanna see another threat with pictures of a broken femur or stuff like that because you decided not to spend 20 buks for a few ply pieces |
