ph wakeboarder, Please tell me you're either 7 years old or retarded. "What's a better boat for wakeboarding, Malibu or Nautique?" There have been a lot of bad threads started on this forum but congrats dude, you win.

no offense, but you do sounds like a retarded 7 year old. for the price you are looking for an inboards an inboard... your not going to find a really good wakeboard boat but you will find a decent one. And any inboard and out board can be a decent wakeboard boat with the right touches, like a wakeplate or a fat sack.

and to awnser your question about brands both are good.... kbia

ZIRB3L, that's not true at all. I can think of a dozen GREAT wakeboarding inboards for under 25k. Great as in Super Air Nautique (Super Sport), Mastercraft X-1 (205v), Malibu V-ride (VLX SV23 hull). You can get a ton of boat for 25k these days IMO. You might be looking at boats that are 10 years old, but they haven't changed much.

Good point, my bad. I just figured since he did at least name 2 legitimate boat manufacturers, he's probably one or the other. Had he said what's a better boat for wakeboarding, a canoe or a padal boat, then I would have assumed he's both.

A canoe has a much better wake. A paddle boat has to much wash from the prop.

Prop wash? Is that what you get from a mastercraft with only 2k lbs of ballast, instead of 4k lbs.

Really depends on what length you ride at. I ride at 8ft and it's actually not too bad. What's really nice is the wrecks don't hurt at 1.2 miles an hour. I have found at about 6 feet the wash is a bitch.

Well like Epic said.. Just ride 8 ft out. The wake is perfect if you put a 8lbd fat sac int the back right in the middle. You can find these fat sacs at hospitals. Old iv bags. Just bring a gallon of milf or water and you will be doing timper tantrums all day long. You just gotta load the line well.. You will get it.
