| Just bought a 1988 Ski Nautique and I was just trying to get some info on what to do in order to get the best wake possible. I have been riding behind a 23 ft bay boat so im kinda clueless when it comes to wake/ski boats. |

| Yes, you'll need a pump to fill the sacs. Look for a combo deal of two 750lb sacs with a pump. |

I had the exact same boat. I used a pair of 350# bags on each side of the engine and a 550# bag between the engine and the rear seat. The wake was pretty good with that set up. I tried a few different configurations but that seemed to be the best. _________________ Does this rag smell like chloroform?

Just to clarify, I had a pair of 350's total. 1 on each side of the engine. not a pair on each side. that prolly would sink the boat if you did that _________________ Does this rag smell like chloroform?

LOL that would fill the entire hull of a SN2001 and sink it for sure.
adding 1500lbs to a 2300 boat with the tiny hull of the SN2001 is a recipe for disaster.
i put a pair of 440s in a few times, it was dificult not to submarine it. but managable _________________

STANG KILLA SS, Im not sure it would sink it but it would definitely make for an interesting ride. My set up had 1250#'s and it put the platform right at water level. I think another 250# wouldn't make that much of a difference in wake size but would definitely make the boat handle like a turd. _________________ Does this rag smell like chloroform?

| My bad I just saw it was a 1988 not a 1998 Nautique. I have a 1998 and the 750 sacs are perfect. |

I haven't tried it but I'm sure it's doable. Besides the 2 540's I have 90 lbs of lead in the bow, and I've driven with this configuration and 4 or 5 persons in the boat.
No need for submarining if you drive correctly. _________________ FlyZone Wakeboarding Costa Rica |
