I could consider a raley an invert. But if you want to go full rotation either a backroll or a tantrum are the easiest. There are trick tips on the main page that explain how to do them.

OuachitaWaker, Laughing Laughing that's a long debate. But no I don't believe so. The discrepancy is in the definition of Mobe and how it relates to the term Mobius

IMO, a raley is not an invert. You never go upside-down or make any rotation whatsoever, it's just putting the board up behind you.

When it comes to inverts, definitely tantrum or backroll. For me, it went tantrum, TS backroll to revert, TS backroll, HS backroll, scarecrow...and the rest built on.

yea, I think the raley is just a trick on the difficulty level of basic inverts and for competition sake, was a trick in the inverted and above divisions.

I've tried a few tantrums and came pretty close for my first invert. Hopefully will get them at the start of the season and think i'll go ts backroll, hs backroll, and scarecrow for my next inverts.

i'd love to get all those next summer. just go for what seems to be the most simple when you visualize it and keep at it.

RIDE.NORRIS.LAKE, work on backrolls, or tantrums, or ts fronts...one of them will click.

if you have a good toeside w2w try a toebackroll, they arent as easy as the heelside backroll but they are a pretty easy first invert attempt to get comfy tryin to go upside down

I've got a 17 foot outboard boat. I have progressed pretty well so far behind it, but I have yet to go upside down. ow difficult will it be to learn inverts behind a boat with a relatively small wake and no tower?

I landed my first backroll this last summer on an old Tige Ski Tournament boat with a tower. Not a real big wake size but it gets the job done. I've also known a few guys who have landed backrolls on ski boats without a tower. so you can do it, just gotta be up to it.

uhm, invert tricks mean that at some point your feet are straight above your head, on a vertical plane, since raileys never involve being upside down, wakebrad is a moron. End of story. Twisted Evil

a Raley is an invert, and counts as an invert in competitions.
So if a raley is an invert and a invert plus 360 = mobe... you do the math.

mobius is a circle within a circle, so how is a raley a circle?

blitzentrapped, like Shaggy said, a raley is considered an invert in competitions. Also, the board goes over your head on a raley technically making you inverted. I get every bit as inverted on a raley as I do on an elephant. I made sure to learn them how Greg Necrasson does them because I think that is one of the coolest looking tricks in wakeboarding, and doing them that way they look almost more like a toeside vulcan. A 313 is not only a mobe, but the hardest mobe in wakeboarding.
By your definition of a mobius being a circle within a circle (the geometric definition of mobius), a whirly would be considered a mobe, but it is not. A mobius (wakeboarding definition) is an invert with a handle pass 360.
