I have tried probaly over 50 backrolls and have landed 5 of them at about 60ft. out, no joke. I could sometimes do heelside 180, and most of the time switched heelside 180's at that same line length. Now i have a longer rope that at its shortest length is 70ft. and i rode on it once and i know i was getting a little higher but out of control. Will staying at this line length help me in the long run, and should i be working on all the w2w jumps and 180's with grabs and stuff like that before i keep trying the backroll, will learning these tricks help me with the backroll.(I am confident about the backroll i just cant land them because i dont get enough pop).

I used to ride at 65ft. Once i bought a new rope i changed to 75ft. The longer rope lets you cut out farther to get a better cut. The more aggresive you ride, usually the longer the rope. About the backroll keep trying it, but don't forget basic tricks either. Keep practicing and don't give up.

Ok, i think a lot of us gave you a lot of advice on that one, anyway, it's probably better for you to lengthen the rope.
