| I have tried probaly over 50 backrolls and have landed 5 of them at about 60ft. out, no joke. I could sometimes do heelside 180, and most of the time switched heelside 180's at that same line length. Now i have a longer rope that at its shortest length is 70ft. and i rode on it once and i know i was getting a little higher but out of control. Will staying at this line length help me in the long run, and should i be working on all the w2w jumps and 180's with grabs and stuff like that before i keep trying the backroll, will learning these tricks help me with the backroll.(I am confident about the backroll i just cant land them because i dont get enough pop). |

I used to ride at 65ft. Once i bought a new rope i changed to 75ft. The longer rope lets you cut out farther to get a better cut. The more aggresive you ride, usually the longer the rope. About the backroll keep trying it, but don't forget basic tricks either. Keep practicing and don't give up. _________________ Pain is temporary

Ok, i think a lot of us gave you a lot of advice on that one, anyway, it's probably better for you to lengthen the rope. _________________ It won't be easy, but when I get there it will be one of the most satisfying journeys of my life. |
