| Our boat can hold a maximum of 1200 lbs. including people in the boat. Right now I am close to going for a ski locker bag. What are some other options of ballast that i can use in the boat? I was thinking of the little 85lb. bags that launch pad has, and throwing two in the rear corners of the boat. i might try and get a digital camera of some possible places that they can go in the boat. Also should i just buy one of those pumps that goes over the side of the boat or integrate the ballast in with the boat? |

Certainly the integrated system offers convenience but first experiement with where you need your sacs and how much weight you want - I have a whole lotta internal weight but still keep a 400 lb sac up front for light-crew days vs. heavy-crew days.
The heavier duty sacs will certainly last longer, particularly the ones with good fittings built-in...the blue "perfect union" waterbed fittings tend to strip out.... _________________ just broad reachin' thru life... |

I have the ski lockers filled with skinny water bed tubes, a fat sac up front, one under the rear seats and water bead tubes along both side of the engine,
I am sure I am over capacity
the wake was always ok for me, until i got friends with X stars and malibus
now my boat sits |
