just slide into it and keep your weight centered over the board so you don't slip out. Make sure you don't try to edge once your on it or you'll fall on for face _________________ Does this rag smell like chloroform?

Drewy_Ramone, it's pretty easy. A 10 foot one thats only 3 ft high shouldn't be a problem. Wet it down the first time you pass and take a slight cut into the kicker. When you get to the ramp come off your edge so the board is flat. You don't have to lean back or forward, just stay like you would if you were in the water. Then towards the top just extend your legs to get pop rather than absorb it. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

Well even though it sounds like a pretty mellow transition, I would recommend letting your knees absorb it once or twice to get a feel for it, then work your way up making them stiffer and stiffer as you go. That is if you dont want to be falling the first few times. But it sounds like an easy ramp. _________________ "I just want something more than to come home in my cool looking SUV, sit in my king sized leather recliner and watch reality television on my widescreen plasma TV...How easy it is to care for someone when you dont have anything else..." |
