|
|
| I checked out the Vans Triple Crown today and was surprised to see the Correct Craft 226 TE pulling the Men's Pro division. The 210 was being used to pull other divisions and wakeskate, but the 226 was definitely being hyped. Over the PA, Shawn Murray indicated that he preferred the wake of the 226 and would be using one of those boats at his school..... |

I heard that 226 sales were really lagging and they wanted some more exposure to the 226. _________________ Don't do anything rash.....and don't do anything to get a rash... |

| Someone at the event also mentioned that Shawn Watson had selected the 211 as his boat for '05 - but I can't confirm that info.... |

| It's hard as hell to weight down properly. I don't see any pros riding behind it unless it's 100% promotional. I could totally see Watson riding behind the SV before the 226. |

it is hard to get the wake even on the 226. It requires more box weight then the SAN. I've ridden behind the 226 a few times and it decent if you get it all worked out. I have NOT ridden behind a 211 But have pulled a few people with one and think it is not in teh same wake league as the 226 or 210. I was pulling people I just met with it and the solid riders though it was so-so and the beginners loved it. we had liek 8 people in the 211 and about 1000lbs extra for the good riders, but the wake still looked below par compared to a top flight wake boat.
And yes, We had it in "wakeboard mode".
