Hey Numbfoot -
Given that the good ones can pull a 360 off an ollie, I think you probably can get one off of the wake on a PWC. Get your biggest friend to drive and your other biggest friend to spot.
Check out the actual "Trick Tips" section on this site - I think there's one about Ollie 3's. Good luck man - Let us know how it goes!

No prob, I can do 3's off of my John boat's wake, and it's really really small.

| the only thing is... your rope is actually pulling you down, instead of up in the air, so when you ollie its tryin to pull you right back into the water instead of letting you float, remember that

if you want my advice, I would save the 900 bucks and buy a boat. You could sell the pwc, or keep it for sliders/wakeskating/cool camera angles
just my 2 cents

That is the gayest looking thing i have ever seen If you cut out into the flats hard you could easily tip the jet ski on its side i dont think that you should spend 900 bucks on that. I know seadoo makes these little extended pylons that fit on the back and go up through the back handle thing. They are retractable and have grad handles for the spotter. They are a lot cheaper(dont remember the price maybe 100-200?) and wouldnt tip over the jet ski or look at gay.

but, to answer your question, yeah you can do a 3 off the wake, or a backroll, tantrum, raley, whatever. Yuo just gotta have a good foundation in the basics

learn to jump hs, ts, reg and goofy
then learn grabs for all of the above
then learn all the variations of the 180, hs,ts regular, halfcab, fs,bs
then grab your 180s
by this time, you'll be real good at riding a wakeboard and you can try 3's and stuff
progression, progression, progression

Learning 3's are hard, i'm still working on them, many faceplants later. You learn to deal with it though after a while, the pain is only a few seconds long and will be well worth it once you pull off your first 3

Yea i'm learning 360's as well. I can get the roation and the handle pass, i'm just shake on the landings. Last night i caught the tip of the opposite wake and slammed the side of my head down super hard. I had a headache until i drank enough beer to 'ass out.
The best advice i can give is to learn to pop really well off that small wake and not to start the rotation too soon (this nearly garuntees your going to land board up)
GOOD LUCK

I have a Vans Triple Crown Sea Doo with an extended pylon in the back. The pylon helps a little but not much. Beginners have a rough time getting up their first times and it is hard to do many tricks and even if you can do em' they pull your body in wierd ways. I have been riding behind my sea doo for a year now and the only tricks i can do are W2W grabs (very short grab time) grabb 180's, grab 360's, BS 360 wrapped, and I almost landed a backroll. I saw someone pull an air roll tantrum and it made me cry because i was under the impression that i needed a boat to do cool inverts and especially rayleys. I think you can do hard stuff off of a jet ski, but it is probably safer to learn behind a boat and a whole lot easier. Just curious whats the best trick anyone has done off a sea doo or jet ski?
