I can usually get around so that my feet hit the water first.. but it's still not too comfy.. haha

| I can't do them, so take this with a grain of salt but I notice it doesn't look like you are looking where you are going with your head. Try to "spot your landing" by looking back really far and that might help you snap your body around.

can you do a backflip on a trampoline? that helps a lot with being able to finish the rotation and spotting the landing

| i agree knowing how to do a backflip helps a lot...but it looks like ur not getting the pop u want either...do you feel yourself pop into the air b4 u kick ur head back? If you don't wait just that split second longer and u will have more time to spot your landing and you won't have to throw the flip as hard

it looks like you are trying to force the rotation way too early and being too forecefull, try to relax, when im teaching them i tell my friends, when you think you waited too long to turn for the tantrum, wait longer,
its critical you get the pop off the wake, take ur hand off the handle and look over your back shoulder and pinch ur but cheeks hard..
it looks like you are trying to bend urself backwards rather then letting the boat pull you around, cause you to loose ur balance in the air and falling like u do
ive got a video from last year of a tantrum i did ill see if i can dig it up

this might help,
its not a picture perfect move, but its good enough that you could learn from it
hope it helps
edit: just noticed i think your holding the handle with the wrong hand too
the hand to let go is you left when comming in on HS
watch the video, watch how strait my form and back is, the boat is pulling me through the rotation, im just controling it

a) yes I can do backflips on a trampoline easily.. it just doesn't feel the same for me when huckin on a wakeboard..
b) ya I def need to be trying to spot with my head looking back the whole time.
c) yea wait til I get higher up the wake before turning myself square.
Last night I went out and landed one but apparently it was super ugly in the air.. and I hadn't read any of these tips before going out again.. so it was probably just a bigger version of these..

| You need to hold your elbow in tight to your body. Your arm is so far away from your body, there is no line tension and no point for your body to rotate around.

They're right about your arm... bend your elbow some more.
The biggest problem I can see is in the first pic, you look like you're cutting in then taking it straight back. When cutting in you need to think of taking it UP, when you switch edges stand up straight, the distance will come with your speed, so no need to huck the flip around. JMB is also right, wait a bit long than you think to switch edges - if you take it right off the top of the wake you'll get a lot more pop.

this is probably the wrong information to give you but it works for me. I don't trip the flip because I find it spins me to fast. I like to leave the wake completely and lay it out. I find that you can get way more air and slow the rotation down so it looks cooler.

I had to take a lesson to learn my first tantrum, guy told me to try to garb the board with my back hand obviously... because I was under rotating
it worked and eventually I got it down without trying to grab
problem is I can't grab it for the life of me now, always way over-rotate...
hope that helps
