i started landing whirlybirds just today and want a few more tips on it. i can get the rotation around okay, but it just looks somewhat sloppy. anything different i can do that will add a little bit of style to it?

sorry...i meant style as in making the trick itself look better. i can get it around fine and everything, but i just want it to look better as it comes around. i wouldn't say it looks like i am hucking it, i just want to know if i need to do anything different mid-trick. i'll watch pros on videos and there's look really clean, mine looks good, but not close to how they have it. do i just have to get used to the trick for a while and once it's consistent, have it look more relaxed?

It will definitely get better with repetition. Once that trick becomes second nature, it feels and looks alot better. Just keep doing it.

Craig-R, I wouldn't say they looked like crap... don't be so hard on yourself. They do look better when you delay the spin though

I've gotten really close to landing my first whirly. Do you guys think it's easier to try to throw it right off the wake or wait?

When I do them on the tramp I wait but on the water I always want to throw things early.
