Add like 700-800lbs and you will see a big differance.

Also trim the outdrive up 1/4 or a little more.

You might want to reprop with a lower picth or lower pitch 4 blade to handle the wieght better, better hole-shot,and better speed hold.

Good luck

nicodeluca1313, I had a 185 SeaRay briefly, and my cousin now owns it. Essentially, I purchased a tube sac for it, which was 370 lbs when full. Threw that in the ski locker, and I had an ice chest that fit perfectly on the floor up front between the seats and would fill that with water. A tad ghetto, but that didnt matter. That was around 250 lbs after configuring the quarts into a weight for the cooler. I also added some lead weight up front, which was in the range of 130 lbs. I then added a 150 lbs big block sac to the boat to simply just move around when needed. That ended up typically under the passenger dash. Since there was only 4 of us, the driver would obviously drive, the big block would offset his weight just enough, and two passengers would sit on the back bench with their legs over the sun pad so they could watch.

When we didnt want to go through all the trouble of filling sacs, we would just skate on those days. My cousin still has the boat, and when weighted like this, the boat threw a great wake.

Just have fun with it. I am not going to lie, as my SANTE has a much bettwer wake. However, I always had fun when riding with the SeaRay, and no matter what, I could always land the same tricks I know/throw behind that boat. HS and TS 54s were all day long.
