Ok. I've watched The Book, read countless forums, etc. I'm still doing something wrong...

I'm standing tall at the wake
handle is low
edging throughout the wake
I THINK IM NOT DOING A PROGRESSIVE EDGE

what do you think?
I got my first w2w a few weeks ago at 75'. That same day i got soem w2w grabs. After that day I couldnt get them anymore so i went down to 70'. I was getting those and sometimes getting close but never consistant.

my buddy recorded me so maybe you guys can help me out some.

heres the vid

yeah it looks like your gonna want to work on your edge more, you dont have the momentium to carry you from wake to wake. And try to say on edge a little more, hard to tell from vid quality, but it looks like you flatten up right by the wake, which will kill your momentium

just keep trying, get confortable with cutting harder and youll get it

One easy way to see that you are not doing a progressive edge is to look at the spray your board generates. It is the most at 20' from the wake and almost gone when you get there.

1. You start WAY to far from the wake... you need 1/2 that distance or less.

2. You edge very hard at the start and then do not edge any harder as you approach the wake. Edging harder and harder (progressive) is the key.

3. You are standing very upright. Leaning back on the rope will give you the ability to get a harder edge without being pulled over the front.

4. You yank your knees up in the video, so it is hard to tell how you were at the wake. If you could post slow mo and leave the tuck out of it, it would be a lot easier to decipher.

Hope this helps
