I'll reserve judgment when I can see an actual pic (not a graphic) of both the topsheet, and most importantly the bottom. Nothing in your graphic tells me there have been drastic changes to the tip and tail.

Here's what Hansen said about it in The Wakeboarding Mag, "I liked pretty much everything about it (old 07 board). I actually didn't want to change it when they came to me with the idea." It went on to say that the changes made to the new Marius were more of an update than a redesign. The new tip and tail design is the biggest transformation, more rounded than the original Marius, the new scalloped design downplays the board's girth. The edges are less sharp, and they changed the fins on it.
That's basically an overview of what it said in the Wakeboarding Mag...if you really want to read the rest they might have it on their website or just buy it.
Regardless, the board looks sick.
