NASCAR meets wakeboarding

I think this is huge for the sport of wakeboarding. NASCAR is the largest spectator sport in the country if not world. Centurion is going to be sponsering a race and showing MILLIONS of fans what our sport is all about. no other boat company has ever been able to do somthing on this level, not even sea ray. this is huge for wakeboarding and the watersports industry.

Wakebrad, i don't know but they must have some deep pockets because i saw their billboards all over the american lemans and IRA races this past sunday

Great more necks with wakeboarding boat they can pull their kids behind on a tube, and race around the lake like there racing "at the Glen". I can just see it now, Bobby Joe on the outside passing Bill Bob with there kids in tow, oh they bumped and sent Bobby Jr and Bill Jr flipping end over end into the dam.

i know they are going to be promoting at one of the nascar races in february too because one of my friends is going to be a model at the booth Laughing

well someone with money owns them or they have a promo deal with nascar which could extend to other race series

I would prefer boat companies stop advertising. I would gladly pay for an increase in prices for that to happen. Laughing

bamboo, in the article (news release) from theglen.com, it mentions a lake within the confines of the track. There is a lake is nearby, but there is not one at the track that I know of.

00ls1, the only "official" NASCAR race in February is the Daytona 500. If so, that is fantastic for your friend.

A lot of the drivers own wakeboard boats. Austin did a show on ESPN pre race show a couple of Saturdays back. It was about a 5 minute segment showing him and Adam Greer wakeboarding and then taking two NASCAR drivers and teaching them to wakeboard.

I am not a race fan but the audience is much larger than just the South. It has done a masterful job of marketing and expanding their base across gender and geographical borders.
