how heavy is the drive compared to the 3ds?
i just noticed my 05 state 135 was way heavier than my 03 byerly 137.

is the drive heavier since it's not one of their high end boards as opposed to the 3ds?

The 3DS has hyperlite's light weight and snappy L7 core, and I think (i'm not sure) the drive has the BIO2 core, which is their old high-end core. It's a little denser and softer, so that could account for the wieght difference. you probably won't notice it when it's on your feet

the drive has the L7 core, so i guess it wouldn't be as heavy as i thought it would...
still can seem to decide though... this could be a lot easier if i was in the states and i could demo... can't decide between the byerly 3ds and drive.. and i have to spend more to ship it Sad

Embarassed ok wrong again about the drive. both are on the heavy side, just from holding them.

don't mind them being heavy, they last longer... used to ride hyperlite then switched to lf, cracked a watson and a friend's shane.. i'll just stick to hyperlite... can't decide which though
