That one is poly-e line, which is the same line used in slalom ropes, which are intended to stretch marginally. Stretch in wakeboarding = bad. as you load the line to jump, is streches,a dn as soon as you leave the water, it recoils, pulling you over. Obrien has a spectra rope/handle combo, and it's pretty inexpensive, i can't really say many great things about the grip on the handle though.
