our wood knob on the throttle of out nautique is looking kinda shitty. does anyone know where we can get a new one. also, are shift knobs from cars the same threading? i've seen some cool ones for cars that i might consider putting on the boat if yall think it'll fit. if you have any links or anything please post.
thanks

I just got this car shift knob from ebay. It's badass! It came w/different thread sizes so it will fit a variety of applications. It fits my boat perfectly. I think most inboards have pretty much the same thread size.

I got the same skull with red eyes from Autozone. It does not fit my inboard throttle well at all. The plastic inserts were all the wrong size to fit well. Hmmm.

Mine came w/metal threaded inserts (also no allen bolts like a lot of car knobs have), it's on real tight. The thing weighs like 3 lbs, I swear I have better throttle control now becauser it's way heavier than the plastic ball knob I had before.

Yup - mine came with plastic inserts and a little allen screw to try and get it on tight. Does not work well at all.

Sounds like I need to get the one you got.
