Make one out of wood, much cheaper, custom fit, and it very easy to do.
Do a search, there have been a few topics on the subject of building your own swim platform. _________________ Neuston Boards

| that company you posted makes them how you want. That was just one they had made before. They are pricey though, with good reason. |

| wouldn't a 1/2" or maybe a bit thicker piece of plexi-glass work well? (cover the top with gator-grip of coarse so it isn't slippery) |

Check out my home-made swim platform made out of "cedar" and covered with the clear (thick) bar top stuff. You can get this stuff at Home Depot, Menards, Lowes, typically in their paint/stain area! Turned out really good I thought. It's been on their 2 years now!

Not bad for about $90! |

Garyh,
Dunno how familiar you are with boats and their fabrication...you'll need backing plates when installing the swim deck (the bolts and plates MAY be supplied)....there is a fair amount of load on the swim deck from time to time - two people should be able to stand on it without it feeling "weak"
I suspect the folks you've linked to have done a boat like yours before and can provide support... _________________ just broad reachin' thru life... |
