This is one of my first posts on the board, but I've been browsing the boards for a few months now.

My parents just bought a Rinker 212 (I know...I tried for a inboard...) and I have the choice of a pylon (tower is not an option) or adding some more weight. What would you suggest? and what brand do you suggest?

Thanks for all of the help!

If you have a 21 ft Rinker, it will have a large (if it isn't all wash) wake. Plus you will be able to somewhat adjust the wake with the trim. Go with the pylon. You'll feel a huge difference in the pull.

Thats a good question. I think I would also choose the pylon. You can always invite a bunch of friends along so they can give you some weight. Your pull will be different and a lot better with the pylon. As for the brand, I would like at Fly High. I got a mag from www.the-house.com today and it says they are $399. Another place you might want to try is www.bigairpylons.com.

Go with the pylon for now and gradually add weight as you can - sandbags, lead bricks, buckets of sand/water, whatever you can think of.
