High Idle w/ Perfect Pass

I have had my boat and PP for around 4 years now. Just last year we figured out why it will idle high when it is in neutral after riding or driving. The cable from perfect pass catches a bit on the black scorpion intake manifold. I have tried a couple different easy fixes, without any luck. My next though is to cut a piece of pipe and bend int around the manifold to allow the cable to slide easier. I can alway lift the engine cover and flick the cable and it will idle back down to where it is supposed to be.

I will try to find my camera to take a pic to show the problem better.

Has anyone had this problem or have any other suggestions. The boat is a 2000 Sanger V210 with a black scorpion engine.

i had the same problem, i added a spring to the carb/manifold and alse twisted the P.P.servo to get the cable off the manifold.

It is fuel injected, but I can see what I could add to the PP side of the cable. Interesting idea.

I have a boat and daughter, but no one to ride with on Saturday. I will call you Thursday night.

Styk33, have you tried calling PP? They seem to be very helpful and may have a pre-fabricated fix for you.

DRAGON88, thank you. I called them and they had some suggestions. They mentioned if those ideas did not work to take a picture and email them. They said they have had problems with the black scorpion intake manifolds.
