well i know the difference between air and wake tricks.
air tricks- edge out and and ollie into a trick
wake tricks- using the lift of the wake to perform a trick
but in a competition setting. i am confused about two things.
1. if the rider does an inside out trick, do they call it a wake trick or an air trick?
2. if someone is going through their run and another boat on the lake sends rollers toward the rider. the rider edges out hits the roller and does a tantrum. is the rider doing an air tantrum or a wake tantrum?
if someone could answer these i would really apreciate it
Generally we tend not to worry or specify about wake or air. And in a comp there are no other boats around to make rollers. Double ups are the only thing close and those are very intentional. Very few riders will do air tricks out in the flats. and in competitions very few riders will do one wake or inside out tricks. I have judged competitions before and in the youth catagories we would just write IO on the sheet for inside out or 1W for one wake. _________________ Smile at the hotties on the boat...Huck ur new trick...Nail it and they'll think ur Wicked..and even if u bail they can soothe u afterwards:D...
