Looking at picking up an '03 HL Permier 140

$125 used, looks to be in great shape. I'm a pretty new rider, went out 5-6 times last year. On my 2nd attempt w2w, I landed bad and ripped the anchors out of the CWB Nirvana that I was riding, scared the crap out of me, lucky I didn't mess up a knee. I am 6'1", 185 lbs. Think this board will do me OK? Not looking to spend a ton of money since I don't have a boat, and can only use it when I get a pull or go to a friend's lake house.

Hopefully the anchors in this board are better than that old Nirvana.

i wouldnt pay $125 for it, i wiouldnt go over $100, as for the board itself it should be fine if you just going to be a recreational rider

well because its a 03 and there are better deals out there, locally a guy was selling an 05 premier ( almost perfect condition) for $120 CDN. i think you should keep looking around or make a better offer. there are lots of deals in the classified section.

Dave88LX, I have this board in my quiver. It is a timeless shape and you could do a lot worse for $125. You don't need the latest gear to get what you are looking for.

That basic shape is still in use to this day - it is the Hyperlite Era.
