I love this one, it looks really cool and is very comfy, its very thin but it floats me really well and if you crash (against objects or water) you wont feel a thing in it... I know it says 125 but its really worth those extra 5

my second fave is this

also very comfy and thin. I think she would love any of those

Used one of these at a clinic a few months ago and loved it. Super comfy, they run a little big though.

The gooru is cool, but i dont think it floats really well or absorbs much impact.

the vapor is soo cool, i fell in love with it like 2 years ago and this year they finally came out in womens sizes!!!

What size is your gf? I am really small, i wear xsmall-small shirts and I got the size 4, i'm not very gifted in the chest area either. I think they should be bought really snug cause they dont have straps to tighten.

EDITED TO ADD: Try buying from a dealer that will accept exchanges in size if it doesnt fit her right... the dealer I directed you to does this.

Just got my GF this -

http://www.wakeside.com/page/W/PROD/girls_vests/oneill_w_outlaw_vest_07

She loves it, fits her well, and floats her just enough.

Wanted the all black Helium Cresent but I couldn't find it anywhere!

I have a Roxy that I got a few years ago- I think I might have paid right around $90. It's USCG approved and floats me really well. I weigh 140 and am quite gifted in the chest area- my vest is a medium. It's cut so that it doesn't ride too low on the waist area (I used to use guy vests because those were what we had- NO MORE!) it's snug and can be adjusted with 2 straps and a zipper. It holds me in really well and doesn't ride up at all.

Good luck- the best thing would be for her to just try them on or borrow some from friends to try out. I wouldn't go with anything that's not USCG approved in case you get boarded and checked (they do that around here on the delta).

I have the hyperlite neo vest: http://hyperlite.com/product?PID=9114

And the LF Jet comp vest: http://www.wakeside.com/page/W/PROD/liquid_force_wakeboard_vests/liquid_force_w_jett_comp_vest_07

Both are really good vests...obviously if she is just starting you may lean towards a USCG approved vest as the LF feels great on but you are working if you fall. The hyperlite is a good vest if you are umm...well gifted a little bit more on top, it does not squish you in or feel tight. Smile

I agree with seaexplore, taker her to your local shop and have her try a few on...make an afternoon out of it. Good luck!!

EDIT: PS: The LF Jet does bleed so don't set it on anything you don't want stained with a pretty pink LF logo (ughhh... learned the hard way.)
