Here's a pic of my cover (sorry, best pic I've got currently, but you can see the slot for the forward tower leg) that's been modded for my tower. My cover has a perimeter "draw string" that's about 1/4".... I used a conventional sewing machine to sew on the "piping" once the slots were cut - I got my "piping" or edge banding or whatever it's called from a canvas shop for cheap. I had to cut the draw string (obviously) to go around the tower legs - I used what I call Brummel hooks (they call them Sister hooks) to quickly rejoin the pieces of line - you can get them at WM or some other chandlery

Initially I got the plastic ones and they've lasted the season but are starting to open up some so they might shake loose.
You can always have a canvas shop do it at a reasonable cost... _________________ just broad reachin' thru life... |

The local canvas shop quoted me $150 to do it. I found that a little on the high side. Maybe not. _________________ WakeSurf and Wakesurfing News |

| I had a local canvas shop modify my cover. It was a little over $200. They put zippers going from the bottom hem that goes around the draw string up to where the tower comes through the cover. They cut the holes for the tower and lined it with a piping. They did the sister hooks to reconnect the draw strings as well as un-sewed from zipper to zipper (front to back tower leg) and added velcro to it. So when you re-connect the draw string, you then fold the old hem around the string and velcro it shut. They also added a breather cap/ pole support to the cover. |

200 is alot to me, for some men to do some sewing. Guess I'll be coughing up the $150 price quoted by my local 'man sewing union'. _________________ WakeSurf and Wakesurfing News |

I went to a shop where they make new covers. I had my cover modified for 50euros=40USD.
The line can be hooked together with plastic hooks, see pict det2. _________________ Opportunity is a bald man with a beard:
