I have the HL Murray and it's very comfy. Also used the Accurate Premier today and it seems very similar to the Murray.

Any from the major manufacturers are durable. Carbon handles are known to have the paint chip off if you whack them on anything. Aside from that, what is most comfortable really depends on your personal preference. I have a Proline LG (leather grip) handle and I also really like my Accurate Premier handle.

If possible go down to your local shop and hold some of them to see what size fits your grip best.

From a durability perspective, the Fly High has it covered. It is a hard rubber covering, but I find it very comfortable and do not get blisters from it. My kids like it as well. I use the Fly High Double Black Diamond with the Spectra Fusion line. I have three on the boat for riding doubles and triples. The other handles on the boat are Straight Line with the cushy foam. They get used occasionally.

I was in the market for a good and affordable handle/ rope combination and decided to go with the Proline LG Package that comes with 80 ft of their mainline rope (~$120 on boardstop.com). Used it a few times now and it's been great!

I have a new Ronix handle that's freaking awsome. I don't remember the name of it, but the grip is suede leather. I've been using it for a month now and it's still in perfect condition. It's very soft, but grips very well. I'm a big fan. It was one of their less expensive handles too. I think it was around 50 bucks.

Another vote for the Proline LG handle. Coming from a "Tractor Grip" style handle, I REALLY appreciate how much more comfortable this thing is. If I was riding for more than a set with the old handle, I'd have to use gloves or expect blisters. No issues with this one.

And you can get a combo LG Handle and wrapped line for $120 at Wakeside.com.

Just got a Proline LG with rope as well for $119 from wakegiant, free shipping. Used it this weekend and it was very comfortable yet easy to hold on to. Obviously can't speak for durability seeing I just got it. I did a lot of searching before I bought it and it was a highly recommended handle. I got it in black cause I ride in dirty water.

Striaghtline Bantam Carbon DD...Nice and light and very comfortable. Nice and soft. The only thing is the different colors and handle patters feel very different when you grip it. so if you have a local shop it'd be good to get someone hold the rope n just get the feel of it being pulled. feels alot different then just holding a handle. IMO.

Buy it...it's worth every penny. I have one for years and it's just as good as new.

My proline LG wore out within a month...maybe I just got a bad one. But the padding underneath the leather broke down really quickly, and then it was nothing but the think leather over the aluminum tube inside the handle, which wasn't very comfy. I've had the best luck with Straight lines handles, I got the interchangeable grip one, thinking I'd just replace the tube when the grip wore out, but a year later the amoeba grip that came with it still isn't showing any signs of wear.

I bought an accurate carbon fiber handle last season and it lasted about a month before the the grip material began to fall off.

StaightLine Bantam handle is super comfy. Durability wise it's a carbon fiber handle which will last a long long time.

In my opinion Proline LG and the Accurate Premier are the best out there. I like the LG a little bit more, but it is pretty close.
