Anyone near Chicago have a Toyota Epic they wouldn't mind letting me take a set behind? I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on one, but I need to see what the wake is like first.

Thanks guys.

Couldn't you ask for a pull behind the one you're thinking about buying?

It's kind of a hike to get there. I'd rather not have to drive 6 hours if I don't have to.

kmagness, what are you wanting to know about the boat?If you're worried that it doesn't do a good job, then no need to worry.I never had ANY complaints about my Epic 22.The wake was always complimented on,never one complaint!

As far as the quality of the boat goes,it's very high, very reliable.I only sold mine because I was worried about getting parts for it further down the road.If Toyota was still building them,I would've got another one.I'm always concerned with it being too late to get out of something like that when it's no longer in production.

Give it a test drive.Get a pull from it when you do.Any question I can't answer for you,I know cyclonecj could on www.epicmarine.com .

Todd

My buddy in Grand Haven, MI has one and he would probably take you out. In fact, he might be willing to sell his. Send me a pm for more details if you are interested.

kmagnuss, fwiw, I've spent a significant amount of time behind an Epic a few years back and loved the wake. Plus those little Lexus 4.2l V8's run FOREVER and are super good on fuel too.
