What are they gonna call it.... "Wake Blading"? Yuk!

I guess it's part of the natural progression. Figure Skating to Roller Blading to Snow Blading to Wake Blading... Some new and more extreme for the knee boarders.

devon, you of all people should be talking about who "should be banned."

This is not a new sport. It's been around longer than wakeboarding, it's called trick skiing.

Ha ha

I named the post "wake skiis the revolution" cause it was sure to stir up some funny responses. The above is correct, this sport is nothing new, however they havn't sold skis like the above for so cheap for a while. and I have never scene any with wakeboard binding on them before so this should be pretty hilarious. I am excited for iron cross mute grabs lol.

I will post pics of the finished product later tonight. another nice thing is these skis completly replace the normal double skiis we had and they take up much less space in the boat.

I hope to be doing backrolls soon like Shaun Murray did in detention. Good times Good times.

Now if only Gas can become cheaper........

Oh you have to cut and modify. They don't just fit on nicely. I had to pull out the jig saw.

Note to self: Get a pair of those things.

Have you guys seen the picture of the guy boosting a huge roll of a loaded wake? He was riding the Delta in Ca and is over the second wake, upside down and just going huge. Hilarious!

Awesome.

This isn't a dig at anyone but it's great to see someone just d*cking around on the water and be happy to take the wrap for it... there is consistently so much talk of how gay something is and how uncool other things are... In the end the priority should be getting out there with friends and family to have an awesome time on the water Very Happy

This will defo look totally rediculous but sir, I salute you for it. Laughing

Ha ha

Yeah I own 3 pairs of skis, 1 snowboard, 1 monoski that I also made, 1 pair of snowblades, 1 long board, 1 skate board, 2 pairs of rollerblades, 2 wakeboards, 2 slalom skis, these awesome trick skis, surfboard, and last but not lease a tube.

I think everything is fun! I noticed the snowblades in the background after I took the pics and thought "I bet somebody is gonna get a laugh out of that" And I was right!! Good times on those. until tarain parks were available I used those snowblades at the begining of the ski season when there was no steep runs to be had. Now they work great for when I am trying to teach people to ski. There actually pretty great for a few turns here and there. And yes I will bust those babies in the park sometimes in my dads old ski outfit from the sixties stretch pants are coming back I tell ya. Good times good times.

I took the new skis out on the water for the first time yesterday and I was clearing the wake but I've got a bit to go before I will post an amazing grab photo ha ha. The wakeboard bindings work perfect! They look especially funny cause the fins are a different color than the rest of the skis so you can see them looking weird on the front lol. Switch riding is gonna be a trick deffinetly. I had zero sucess with that as of yet.

One thing of note is they are MUCH easier to use than normal double skis in basicly every way. I had a first timer try them yesterday and got up first try and was skiing in and out of the wake no problem. They should have made these more mainstream years ago for beginners.
