So whats the DL on this invert, I think this is what I am gonna step up to next. Just curious everyones opinion on it, Ive heard once you got it, you got it. But I think the hardest part is going to be getting it.

flyhigh, I actually landed this invert for the first time last saturday. It took me about three times riding with about 15 or so falls. As far as the "once you got it, you got it" goes, once I landed it, I landed it 5 times in a row so that could be true.
I found that you must take a farely large cut at the wake with most of your weight on your back foot. At the top of the wake, push off your back leg and try to touch your lead ear to your lead shoulder. As far as the landing goes, I had a problem of coming down perpendicular to the boats path. To fix this, I just kept the handle stuck on my lead hip through the entire trick. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Hsprings99 summed it up pretty well. Main thing is you want to flip towards the boat and not to the side. If you don't, you will open up and it will look like a big frantrum. Start by using a strong progressive edge. Bring your front knee to your chest. Bring your front shoulder up off the wake and then down to initiate the frontflip. Keep the handle at your hip and away you go.

flyhigh, I tried a couple of these last week and on my last one I came down really hard on my back knee, but the other falls didn't hurt at all.

My Buddy throws the hs Front flip in his sleep. he claims it's easier than the tanny and the backroll. he told me it should be my next invert (i've got a hs backroll). He said it's pretty well the opposite flip of the backroll.

flyhigh, man I really only took one bad fall. I went out the front and slammed my head pretty good. Other than that they weren't too bad. I could see how this trick could be easier than a backroll or tantrum but it is more intimidating therefore I don't see many people learning it before a tantrum. You have to edge much more aggresively to rotate this trick and the harder you edge = more speed= harder falls. Definately worth it though.

I want to learn these. They look pretty sick, but the only guy I know that can do them breaks stuff on them, so Im a little worried because my board is old anyways. When learning them he landed and ripped his foot through his binding, just this weekend he did a HS front into the flats like always and landed it perfectly but got a huge pressure dent in his 07 trip. (The impact on the landings of HS fronts are so hard bc of the way you rotate and the hard cut, so it just crushed the core of the board) With that being said, a nice layed out HS front into the flats looks SICK and extremely fun! Seems like the trick that you can go biggest on out of all of them too. I guess because of how you pop. (Check out the cable able video on www.trufei.com . First trick. Biggest trick Ive ever seen out of anyone in wakeboarding!!!)

yo man, you definately dont throw it TOWARDS THE BOAT, you will frantrum the fuk outta it and the landin will more than likely hurt. put most ur weight on ur back foot and keep the handle in close ( elbows close like a t-rex) hold ur edge the WHOLE time and when you get to the wake, push hard down on your back foot almost kicking the wake and throw it left, not forward, not back, but left. its like a cartwheel. just pin your ear at your shoulder and the rotation should happen. once you spot your landing, if you think u might go over the nose, let your arms out and your rotation will slow down, the closer your arms are to ur body, the faster the rotation... now about breakin boards on em, its what has destroyed my past covin but hell, what can ya do... they're fun to take huge, ill get some pics up soon
