It all depends on the weather. If it's warm enough, we'll be out there!
Let us know if you're going to be in our area. My son and his friends are crazy enough to board in March, and I always like going out on the boat. Just won't get in the water till it warms up a bit

I'm in Lee's Summit/KC, and this snow is KILLING me. Plus, I'm going down to the Ozarks to demo my hopefully soon-to-be new boat. THAT is going to kill me if I close the deal and then have to wait 2 months to board. Anyone know where I can get a wetsuit for a decent price in KC? Or should I just look online instead?

| pet575, we bought our boat at the boat show in SL last February. They brought it to us in April, but we were unable to get it in the water till Mothers Day. We had tons of rain and too much junk in the water, in other words, we were "scared" to put it in till then! Killer waiting all that time.

We may be wakeboarding in March, but if so, it'll be in MS or FL, as that's where we're going for spring break. MO has been staying WAY TOO COLD for my liking! Once it warms up, we'll be out and about on odd weekends on the Mississippi River near Elseberry, Mark Twain Lake, or maybe the Merrimac near Fenton. We'd also like to head down to the Branson area, too, and naturally Lake of the Ozarks. Ahh, summer...

Ok everyone, air temps have been in the 70's for a couple of weeks, that water must be warming up!
We'll be putting our boat in the water in a couple of weeks. Where are all the Missouri people? I know you are out there!
We need riders down at Bull Shoals. If you've never been here, you need to check it out.

OK, so my worst nightmare has come true... I ordered my boat and put my money down the second weekend of March. Sales guy called me last week to tell me it will be ready to go the 1st weekend in May. I'm officially dying now, and it is still 3 weeks away.

I bought an I/O, a 22' Four Winns with a 350 MPI Mag (300HP). I needed the versatility of a non-wakeboard boat because I ride at Pomme de Terre-which can get rough on windy/busy weekends and my wife and 18 month-old son won't do well with the beating we would take in a wakeboard boat. Regardless, it has a tower and I am having the dealer install PerfectPass. It will have a Bravo 3 (w/ dual counter-rotating prop), so it should pull nicely even at WB speeds and everyone has told me that the hull on that boat will throw a nice wake. I'll add ballast in the ski locker as necessary.
Unfortunately, I don't have a 3 car garage so I'll be keeping it down there and will probalbly never get to use it here in town. If you ever make your way to Pomme, though, give me a shout. That goes for any of you other MO riders out there, too. Lauri, I've been threatening to come to Table Rock for a couple years and I might bring the new rig down there in June or July.

Ya, I live in LS also. I know Raintree, but I didn't know you could board on it. For some reason, I thought there was a HP limit on that lake. Guess not, so that is good.
Ever go to the cable park in KS? Thinking about going out there in the next month.

Lauri...
I will be giving you a call to make it down there one night... I just have to wait to see what the schedule looks like once I get down there!

Kind of all over. All of my friends live out on the Kansas Side so we tend to ride out in Lawrence or Hillsdale. On the holidays my whole family likes to get together & go down to Table Rock though.

Carcrz, awww, that's too bad that you have to go to Table Rock, j/k. It's a nice lake, just way too busy for my liking.

Believe me, I have tried to talk them into another lake or at least not right on the holiday weekends & after 7 years of asking I finally got my wish for the weekend after Memorial Day.

Enjoy it!
Carcrz, so where do you get to go after Memorial Weekend, or is that when you are going to Table Rock?

| Lauri, we'll probably go somewhere nearby early in the AM on the actual holiday weekend, that way we miss a lot of the lake traffic. We are actually taking our weekend vacation the next week though out at Table Rock.
