And another reason wakeboarding is better than surfing, you die less, that means you have another day to wakeboard, which is more fun than surfing anyway.

We sell them but for the most part they are yet to be shipped only a handful of them have actually gotten into consumers hands.

They are pretty fun, we were able to take one out about two weeks ago. If you can wakeboard you can wakekite, its easy to learn to fly the kite. Besides myself two other guys from the shop went out and we were all able to bust pretty big (not as big as the video) even on our first attempts.

FYI wind is the enemy of the wakekite, it becomes to hard to steer the kite so you are basically relegated to riding straight behind the boat.

That thing looks like it would be fun for like 10 minutes...

If your gonna spend 1600 dollars, but a real kite and actaully go kiteboarding.

I agree with Punkpenguin, I kiteboard and you can get a full setup for under a grand and its much more versatile than that. In my mind its a waste to strap a kite on while you're behind a boat, I'd just get a kite and some lessons and that way you have the option of wakeboarding when its calm and kiteboarding when its pretty windy out.

That guy doesn't seem to be getting that much lift there either, so it seems like a whole lot of money to spend for not much of a boost.
