We were out Sunday. It was just beautiful. Saw a couple of pontoons, and a few fishermen. Water was 63, air temp in the 80's. The boys boarded, but I was a little shy of the water. I should have just jumped in, but was stupid and stuck my legs in, too chilly for me, but I'm a wimp.
They said it wasn't bad, thanks anyway, but I'll wait another week or so!

We started 3 weeks ago in Indiana. Air temp was in the 60s and water was about 52. Felt fine in a 3/4 wetsuit. Trunked it on Saturay, air temp was up to 78ish water about 53, first fall was cold after that was perfect. This weekend is supposed to be gorgeous, and I think the water is probably close to 60. Get out there and ride!!!

100 degree rule...air = water > 100 RIDE!

Its turning out to be a very warm early season, in previous years I think I have been trunking it in late april with 56 degree water and had to keep the heater in the truck on the whole way home LOL.

Its good to be back in the midwest, cant wait to ride!

Went out for the first time behind the boat this past weekend at Table Rock Lake near Springfield, MO. Water was no more than 60 degrees both days. Air Temp was about 74 on Saturday, mostly sunny with a few clouds. Sunday was 80, sunny, no clouds and just a gorgeous day. Didn't wear a wet suit either day and it wasn't bad at all. A little chilly at first but after the first set didn't notice it at all. To excited to ride to worry about the water being a little cold Very Happy Can't wait to go again!

If you guys are in the area and looking for your first pull you should check this out... of course you are welcome even if it isnt your first pull!

First Annual MidwestWakeboarder.com Wisco-De-Mayo May 5, 2007
We will be hosting our first annual Spring get together on May 5, 2007 in Newville, WI. If you have a boat bring it. If you don’t, bring your board and catch a pull behind someone elses boat. This is your opportunity to meet others in the area that are wakeboarding.
At the end of the day we will have a raffle and also be showing the Wisconsin Premiere of UPDOG like no one else has done!
We will be meeting at Anchor Inn in Newville, WI and will have our option of the river or the lake.
Anchor Inn is a bar with a full menu. There is also a McDonalds, Culvers, Taco Johns and another bar called Fins….
Anchor Inn does have a boat launch and there is a $10 fee. There is public launch not to far away but Anchor Inns launch is worth the fee!
It is no wake between the I-90 bridge and the hwy 59 bridge, but we will be coming back to the dock after a rotation of sets. So you can show up at anytime.

Location: Newville, WI. Meeting at Anchor Inn.
Directions: http://www.anchorfun.com/directions.htm

Time: 8am-?

ive been out about 5 times or so, water was 60 and air at least 65 or more. a heater shirt worked perfectly. Got just about everything back from last year, so its set to be a killer summer.

~Last Summer~, hmmmmmm,

Let's just say it involved, my dog, my skateboard and the street.

I had the truck packed ready to go, take the dog for a pull before I leave and the resulting road rash was pretty bad.

Did I just admit to this?

I was sooooo pissed. Brand new BU and I was the third. I lost some skin on Sat.

nfn, Hey just because you don't have them anymore doesn't mean you don't know what they feel like. Tongue in Cheek, KG. So I'm a fun-hater now, what of it? Oh, and how awkward was last night...??? I had to talk and say whatever I could to keep myself from laughing. Surprised But Hey, she's not a b!tch so I like her better than Jess already. Rolling Eyes I need to start a thread on this situation...

I went out the last weekend in March in Indy, and it wasn't too bad. As for Clinton Lake, enjoy that nice green glow you'll be given off before long...

Been out 4 or 5 times since the middle of April. Didn't get a chance to ride this past wknd but heard the water was around 65. Heading out after work tonight!

Hey matt1808, where do you guys ride at? A friend of mine moved up to Bloominton in January, I know she is probably looking for a pull if you guys ever need a third.

gotama176, I am actually in Decatur now, so I ride on Decatur Lake most of the time. Early spring and fall I usually ride Clinton though, cause it's warmer.
