... that is what I use.

Better yet...

-Skate deck
-Old Shoes
-Duct Tape

Do the math on that one and it will save you some $$$.

I used an underwater skateboard that I got from target. Its made of foam and I just duct taped some shoes on them. Seems to work great and flexes with the tramp.

I was thinking of using one of those all foam boogie boards to cut a nice shape out and then fastening some old snowboard bindings to it. It would be kind of like a do-it-yourself Guru Board.

Here's one I made last year. I cut out two pieces of cardboard and sandwiched 3 inch foam between them. I then added a piece of 1/8" hard plastic to the top to allow for bindings to be screwed in. Next I wrapped the whole thing with some denim fabric. Finally, I screwed in the overlays from an old pair of bindings to the top of the board using sheet metal screws.

The board works great. It flexes when I land, but holds it shape when in the air.

The overlays are working out great. They're stiff enough to hold you in, but they still have some give to them when you come down awkward, so there's no issues in rolling an ankle.

Elysia, i reliized i was just saying inverts and spins would be soo much easy. But in the process i understand that i may have come across as dumb!

Nauty, i have another question about ure home made tramp board. 1/8" hard plastic that you have on ure board have u done this all the way around the board or just on the top for the bindings. Don't u think that it may crack as the whole board will flex as it is made of softer materials and then all the presure is placed on the hard plastic. Just a thought

Weby,

The plastic is just on the top for the bindings. It's hard enough for the screws to screw into, but it is pliable. You can bend it around in a complete circle and it will not break.

As for the dimensions, I traced a Hyperlite Scape 116 wakeskate. I can tell you one thing, trying tricks on the trampoline with a tramp board strapped on is a whole lot more difficult than without one. Before I made the board I could spin 540's on the tramp with no problem. With the board I'm doing good just to get around 360.
