Am I the only person who looks at the gear guide here?

Why doesn't anyone write reviews about their equipment anymore?

If I want to learn about a board or something else, I like to find it in the gear guide. That way, I can read somebody's opinion and not have to read 20 comments about how wrong that person is, or why they should have bought brand X, or why they should buy whatever joe pro is riding.

Anyhow, I don't think the mods are going to update much on there, unless people start using it more.

Yea...the gear guide on WBer is a ghost town. I was looking last month and recent stuff was years ago......

It would be nice to have it used more. But with that said, I assume it would be like the WW one, where you have everyone posting what great stuff everything is. Rarely does anyone buy something and then say, wow....I really ended up hating this crap and this is why. I can always find someone to tell me how X product is the best thing since sliced bread or X Brand sucks, buy this. I want someone to give me specifics why I may have issues with a product.

In closing, some knowledge is better than no knowledge..... So maybe this should be come a sticky to remind people to review product as they use it.

We have someone that is trying to add gear to the guide all the time. The reviews are up to you guys.. If there is anyone on the site that might want to contrib to the gear guide let me know and I will see what I can do. I could get you gear at a discounted cost if you want to do some writeups and reviews on the product.

Did someone say discounts??? How would you write a review on products that you don't own though? I'd do reviews of everything I use if someone wants to send it my way for trial.

If I could find someone that could do some good product reviews....I would get you discounts on any of the gear that you would like to get your hands on and review.

For those of you that buy a bunch of product every season that might help you out some.
