I got one last year, very comfortable. It feels like your not wearing anything. I would say good buy.

snooks, I'm in BC and I think that its okay to have a non CGA vest while wakeboarding but when in the boat, you have to have a CGA vest in the boat.

snooks, all the companies like Jetpilot also make CGA vests, i would look at Oneill for a good CGA vest that isnt bulky or constricting

Hmm, I've been riding with a competition NCGA vest for years and never had a problem. Been stopped by the lake patrol to check for registration numbers but they didn't care about my vest. I doubt the lake patrol is going to check every single vest in the boat, furthermore they probably don't care so long as you're wearing a vest. _________________ wakeboards

I've been tickted for wearing a JetPilot non-CGA vest while on a SeaDoo. My wife got a ticket for wearing a JetPilot non-CGA while wakeboarding. The tickets cost $120 each. Not doing anything else illegal or conspicuous, just wearing the vest. Go figure.

I've never ridden anything but a non-cga vest and I havent' had any trouble. I bought a falcon last year, and while it floats better, I went back to my stance vest. I found that when I took a hard fall, the falcon would shift up around my shoulders.

I don't know what the laws are in BC. In the US it varies by state. Here in KS I think the requirement is to have a CGA vest per passenger. So I make sure I have one of those cheap orange type II vests per person on the boat, and don't count my Jetpilot as a life vest. If the laws are similar in BC, you're set. _________________ Whoever coined the term "Near Beer" was a very poor judge of distance... |

O'Neill Law if you want CGA. I don't really like the non-CGA vests I've tried...always sink too much waiting for the boat to get back around. Law is comfortable and keeps you afloat.

Second that. There's not a single CGA approved vest that can compare with non-CGA vests like the JP Stance/A10 Attack or O'Neill Vapor/Gooru
