| No Salt Water, I should note that my a-line is old? It's not a new model, I believe I bought it in 04? But I have never had an issue or noticed it sinking at all. |

| ...I guess it wasn't as dumb a question as I though. Some say it floats and some say it sinks. I guess I'll email Accurate and see what they say. I have no idea what to get now. A line, jacket series, carbon handle, non carbon, etc. I thought I was all set but I deffinately want a line and handle that float. My last line and handle sunk like rocks and that was a royal pain unless the boat was moving. ...not to mention at least a few times I nearly lost the whole thing to sinking down into the lake....at up to 400ft deep, no way I'd ever get that back. |

Another stupid question....
If I got a bullet line, could I attach a Accurate handle. I've always had whatever the Walmart junk lines were so I have no idea how the better lines and handles connect. |

dpcj2 I'm pretty sure you can. I was able to attach a cheep gladiator wake board handle (that I plan on replacing this year) to a good straight line, line with no problem; I think it should just loop right through and connect _________________ If you are assuming I’m a guy by my screen name, you would be very surprised if you saw me in a bikini

I emailed Accurate yesterday and asked them if the A line and Premier handles float. This was the response I received:
"Unfortunately none of our handles and ropes are guaranteed to float,
they may for a little while but eventually they will sink. Please let me know if you have anymore questions."
I guess that's my answer. |

Get the jacket line. It has neoprene underneath the coating, and its wrapped round the spectra core. I have an 05 line, and an 05 murray handle, both float fine. _________________
