I was thinking about this today, I just wanted to know am I the only one that prefers to put their bindings on in the water instead of the swim platform. I read all the time about how these bindings are so easy to get into they take out all the swim platform trouble but dose anyone else prefer the water over the boat. _________________ If you are assuming I’m a guy by my screen name, you would be very surprised if you saw me in a bikini

Used to put them on in the water, but now put them on on the boat. The CWB hinge makes either one simple.

yeah my boat the plat form is too small, I tried to put them on in the boat and get in the water with the board on once, and I never did it again, way too hard I would rather just already be in the water that way after I get them on I can just grab the handle and go...no jumping over the side of the boat needed. The docks at the lakes that I usually ride at are either too crowded or you would get kicked off if you tried to do a dock start on _________________ If you are assuming I’m a guy by my screen name, you would be very surprised if you saw me in a bikini

I have LF Ultra Suctions, there is no way I can get those suckers on unless I am on the platform of our boat with lots of soap I do have to take them off in the water though, it's an all around painful experience ha.
If I had something that laces up/hinge tech/not ultras, I would put them on in the water. |

I prefer a dock or the platform. It takes less time than struggling in the water. At least for the bindings I have.

I prefer the swim platform for initially getting it on, but when I take an unintended landing, I just put it back on while in the water

I prefer the platform. But it does depend on the boat, the bindings, and the water sometimes.
