can anyone recommend a site that sells new mp3s w/o drm protection? i tried through my sources to get the grey's anatomy soundtracks for frankie, but had no luck.

DRM-free downloads on itunes are only for songs under the EMI music umbrella. Hopefully more labels will follow, but for now it's just them.
and after a bit of research, Hollywood Records, the label that Grey's OST is under is NOT part of EMI...though Hollywood is apparently distributed by EMI in the UK/Europe. Weird. Maybe check itunes to find out for sure what the deal is. You never know!

soon there will be more of drm free mp3's on http://www.clips4all.com under category Bands.
clips4all offers only drm free stuff -> why rent when you can own is the principle.
