Hey Guys and Girls,

I currently board on a 3ds biolite(143) and the old murray style '05 binding(boa, blue, etc).

Honestly i luv the setup, one little thing that i really hate though is the damn weight.

its Heavy!

I find the boots are a majority of this weight, any idea how much lighter the new boots are then the old ones?

thanks for your time,

Steven

They're a similar weight. The new ones use smaller baseplates, but have more material on them. They might be a little bit lighter, but I don't think you'd notice it. ronix boots are hands down the lightest, if that's the route you want to pursue

same as the 06, huge rocker, but contiuous. sits deep in water, so it tracks well, and edges hard, but slower than most continuous's for the same reason. lands soft, pops like a mild 3-stager but more consitent. A drawback to the huge rocker is that if you put a pair of bindings that were an a murray on a different board, they may rock back and forth a little because the plates have formed to the rocker

3.2" is a bit crazy for a board, im happy with my 2.6". But i supose when you put it like that its not too much of a difference.

got those same bindings.. they were light when it was 04... now they seem heavier
changed my 03 HL board to an 06 watson and its a lot lighter but the 04 temets seem to be heavy... just ordered new 3ds boots... hopefully they are much lighter than the 04 temets.

can anyone comment if the HL 07's bindings are much lighter than the HL 04's or not much big of a difference?
