Anyone else going to Shasta around the 1st week of May? I'm heading up there once finals are done for 5 nights. Taking the new boat, I'm pretty excited about it. Hoping the weather is decent, we drove through there on my way home from school last year in May and it was pretty nice. Not a lot of boats, lake was pretty much glass. It should be a good time, I love Shasta!

Damn you...I'm jealous! Shasta should be beautiful. I've been up there for Memorial the past few years and I'm kinda bummed because I dunno if I'm gonna be able to get up there again this year.

I live in Redding, so yes I will be there. Before Mem Day and after Labor Day are the best times here because the tuber kiddies are still in school.

Yeah, but even on Memorial weekend you can still get half-decent water if you know where to go.

True Scott. The one holiday we avoid is Fourth of July. It's always crazy crowded then. That's when we go to Jones Valley and watch people freak on each other at the launch ramp.
