I'd avoid Heavanly if I were you, tourist central for the greater Lake Tahoe area. I'd take the bus to Kirkwood if you don't have a rental car. _________________

heavenlys not bad crowd wise, i went during christmas time and the lift lines were shorter then a regular weekend at bear mountain |

Mike.H, anything is good compared to Bare Mtn.
Keep in mind that during that time the snow here sucked ass. Hence the smaller crowds.
I seriously might take a day next week and make a Wood or Alpine run.
stompin7s, the snow forecast is now for Tues into Wed.
Thursday could be off the proverbial "chain". _________________

2.5 feet on tuesday is my kinda snow heavenly is an ok place, ive never liked it i always thought it was to flat and there was always a ton of people there. what would though keep people off the slopes would be a big storm just because some people will not ride in conditon that arents good. |
