We have a 94' crownline I/O, and will probably wait one more summer to get a new boat. This wake is tiny, to say the least, but not bad for wakeskating. We're thinking about adding some fat sacks and an add-on pylon just to get by for wakeboarding this upcoming season. With the baseplate being the only real alteration to the boat, would this pylon be worth it for the season? How sturdy is it?

Yea. That't it. It looks like it just connects to the back two pop-up cleats as well as the regular front strap.

you have to drill holes in your boat for these "support poles"
I have a pylon like this, it's taking some room away and does what it has to do.
you can still sit on the back seats, but you need to watch out when you stand up and want to walk around...
for me it was worth it, but for only one season, I don't know...
see profile pic for mine
next time I'll get a tower! for sure _________________ * riding finless teaches you to get your edge down properly, when you do it with fins, you'll be able to cut like OJ Simpson

I built a pole out of a floor jack. I used a cable to run to the bow and two rachet straps to the back to each of thr cleats. I screwed to boards together and drilled a hole in the top one for a base. I drilled no holes in the boat and it only cost about $70.

you can get a joystick tower pretty cheap . That way you would also be able to throw some racks on it and get your boards off the floor .
