| Which instructional dvd would you get. Both seem pretty good but which one do you think is better for the money and has the best instructions? Thanks |

| I would also say the book.. In the other dvd they race through all of the tricks. The book explains the tricks in much more detail. |

The Book is awesome.. it's got everything.
Really. Everything.
Just don't expect a whole lot of action. It's a tutorial, and it does just that. The narration is a tad... monotonous, to say the least. _________________ HOCKEY PLAYERS: The cockiest, dirtiest, most irresponsible group of athletes in the world. | I have heard that the book is very good and would love to purchase the full set but just don't have that money. Also i don't know which one i should get if i could only purchase one. I have been wakeboarding for about a year. I can carve decent and get up. I have jumped one wake ok but never wake to wake. I don't want to get one of the started ones if it is only going to have half the information i would want. I have never had any real instructions on learning to wakeboard so which would i be better off with. The BUILDING A FOUNDATION dvd or the spinning dvd? |

You guys are all lucky, I never had the luxury of videos. If I learn a trick, I either teach myself, ask you guys, or google. _________________ 04 LF Trip 133

Pconn5, You don't have to buy the entire set all at once. Based on your post, I'd say the "FOUNDATION" disc would be the way to go. Look at it as an investment in your wakeboarding future. Hey, I'm getting ready to drop $750.00 at TWC next week and that's what I keep telling myself. |

| LOL, I think im going to order the foundation dvd and then order some of the others later on. I like the investment excuse for spending tons of money on things. |

Look around on ebay you can usually find it a little cheaper than what wakeside or buywake would sell it for. _________________ RIP DLS.

| I found a deal on ebay its $68 for all 5 discs and thats including shipping. The seller has a 99.2% positive feedback with about 5500 feedbacks or so. I think im going to go ahead and get that my mom said that if a paid for half she would pay for the other half of it so hopefully i can get it ordered soon unless she changes her mind. (And that is very possible, lol). Thanks for the recommendations. Even though i don't need the first my dad and sister who want to start can watch it and i could probably even help some of my fundamentals with it too. |

It will surely help out with your fundamentals. I have it. Lots of things you can do to help your riding. _________________ RIP DLS.

| Higher education is def. worth the money, it's got alot of tricks and is to the point. not alot of BS filler. I've never seen the book but seems like alot of money for an instructional video... |

My G/F got me the entire Book Wakeskate series for Xmas this year. Just so you know, I already knew how to get up on a wakeskate and do a few small surface tricks and some little W2W tricks when I got it. The point is, the entire series was STILL worth watching.
So, if you've got the $68 to spend on The Book, then I say spend it. It is an incredibly worthwile investment. If you're looking for justification then I'll gladly go on record as saying it is money well spent.
Plus, I'll be riding with Kyle Schmidt and Chad Sharpe next week. Makes it even cooler after watching them on DVD since last Xmas.
Rock on! |

| Just ordered the whole 5 disc set for a total of $68. It was 58 with 8 dollars shipping and 2 for the insurance. (Which was mandatory). Can't wait to get it in and watch it. Thanks for the reccomendations. It seems like it will be well worth the money! |

I reccommend The Riders Edge (Zane Schwenk)... very enertaining and informative.
The Book is good, but I think the Riders Edge gives a quicker overview which is sufficient. |
