When is your season getting started?

Looks like first week of April.

Due to bs, I did not get to ride very much last year. I have some making up to do for last year.

Also, who is gonna be the first person to winch Chicago?

My season will probably start the last week of April. Maybe a little sooner, depending on when the weather gets bearable.

The warmest water ever gets at my lake is 65. My season starts when the water comes high enough that the end of the boat ramp is far enough submerged.
I'm heading to florida from march13 to april something, but then I'lll get back and be able to ride here.

Last year, we opened it up on Feb 1. I'm aiming for end of Feb, early March. As soon as these bloody cold fronts will quit blowing through!

Hope to see you out there. I am sure my wife and mother-in-law think I'm crazy, but hey ... they're the ones that got me the wetsuit for Christmas.

Just curious, but when did you wrap things up? I think we were out until mid-September.

I am sure the VLX not being camo caused some birds to fly away. Laughing

muckmeister, My lake has ice on it for a week, rode just before the ice when snow was on the ground then turned my jetski into a ice breaker and rode 2 weeks after the ice when it was starting to melt. Scary shti when your driving and all of a sudden you run out of water and have to whip the rider over ice, that sound the ice makes under board is scary.

This weather has been nuts, it's 27 this morning then supposed to be in the mid 50's this afternoon! I think we'll probably bust out the winch this weekend but I am gonna save the gas money before dropping the boat, hopefully March will bring much better weather.

as long as i have a wet suit.. the season never ends.. i went to owc on friday and the weather was in the 50's or 60's... it was awesome we had the whole park to ourselves- noo one was there

muckmeister, first week of april? does that mean some sort of wetsuit or drysuit? where will you be riding. winch chicago? do you mean the river downtown? bear with me, new to the area/april riding, just looking for a pull

the river is frozen both at school and at home... it will be a while usually around labor day its do able, i dont got a wet suit that fits any more so i just suck it up and ride. lookiing forward to the weather to break, finially got a connection at school who has a nautique
