CIPA makes a nice one as well that mounts to the windshield.
Look for the CIPA COMP, or COMP II _________________ Neuston Boards

| Hey man did u score that mirror yet? I hope not cause it looks just like the piece of *hit i got for my boat last year. The clamp does not stay tight and just scratches the hell out of the finish on my windshield. the clamp is just not deep enough, well for my shield anyway. |

Not yet. It's really cold here and my boat is in storage, so I figure it'll be a few months before I place the order. I will probably get one of the CIPA ones that Sinkoumn had suggested.
Did you switch mirrors to something else? If so, what did you get/ Thanks for the heads up. |

| I only used it one trip at the lake for about 5 min cause it just wouldnt stay on and kept scratching the finish. Everytime i went to tighten it, it only work its way off, so needless to say i wipped in the ol trash can. Mine ended costing me around $50.00 for a flimsy waste of time. I havent got any replacement yet just going to have dish out the big dough for better quality. Keep your eyes on ebay, there is lots and now is the time to get in on one before everyone starts thinking about the lake or may be too late already. |

As stated before, get a Cipa. Before I mounted the tower on my Glastron, I used a Cipa Comp that worked out really nice. That mirror held the windshield pretty good. Once I got the Tower, I went with the brackets to mount it there. _________________ Boat:

The problem that I had with the windshield mounted CIPA was that it chewed the shiz out of my black windshield frame - thus looking like crap.
It functioned great, but beat up on the frame; so I moved to a Fusion tower arm, works fantabulous. _________________ Neuston Boards

My boat had a window mounted one and I didn't like it. The tower ones mount higher so they don't block your sight and are more versatile if you wanted to sit on the seat cushion or the seat back. Mine also ripped a hole in the boat cover and scratched up the black finish on the window. I'd go with a tower mounted one unless you had to. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |
